Captain scrubbing brush

Having put the boat in the water before the propellor anodes arrived, in the post. i knew i had to dive under the boat and screw them on while in the water! So i have left until we arrived on the mooring so i could inspect that at the same time. It was cold. I forgot my gloves. Having screwed the anodes on the prop my hands where numb, scrubbing and inspecting the mooring tackle i cut my hands not being able to feel them did not help. The good news is as suspected the brand new tackle was fit for purpose. In the mooring rules a 'competent person' has to inspect the tackle every year. Having read about the weat allowance for working chain and armed with a scrubbing brush and camera as proof of inspection. The tackle appears boom proof still galvanised and minimum wear.
