Swell and no wind

Flat calm when we left hartlepool then no wind and a growing swell from the south. Bit rolly polly but we all enjoyed it, thank fully it was only for four hours, 22 Nm. Our sea legs are it was agreed were defiantly back in shape only we have to get use to land now. Home tommorow bit will sleep very well now. Back in home port.

Passage making

Todays passage was not so glorious as the end of yesterdays. Back the way we came but this time against the tide, following sea and little wind. We had to motor sail which is always bit tricky, to meet our tidal gate to get in the sea lock at hartlepool marina, we got here with 6 minuits to spare. Middlesbrough and its offshore wind farm looked very like a set out of the si fi film blade runner 2 in the hazy light.
