Four more to go just a wee bit of blue tape left to remove on these but really pleased how they have come out after cutting and sanding down.

Hard work over the last few days, putting the decking down. Removed three more old panels only one to go! Its looking really go so far, can not wait to cut the excess cauking down and clean it up.

Sticking the decking down has been as straight forward as i had hoped, basically went down just as i had planned it too.

Well another few hours fly by for the satisfaction of neptune. Constructed the fiddles now to finish them in clear acrylic and fit.

Now making fiddles out of the old settee wood, that i had to replace. I feel a certain imperative to see this top quality mahogany veneered ply go for as long as possible, and repurpose it. The lippings are from a skip found wardrobe door frame.

Turning the starboard above and behind settee birth into a store for fruit, veg, preserves, books and games. This birth i can not see us using very often, so making a knock down set of fiddles to store stuff in.

Its a dogs life

While i am slaving away chipping out the old cockpit wood the dog is doing sweet f a again! Not even an on deck look out. She is a bit under the weather! Old deck peeling off pritty easy as its rotten just the good bits that are tough. Not sure how long it will be to get new stuff down.
